What an incredible evening of poker we witnessed on February 23 thanks to some of the world’s best players descending on partypoker for the MILLIONS Online 6-Max Super High Roller.

Some 70 players bought in for $25,500 to obliterate the $1 million guarantee. Only 11 of those starters remain in the hunt for the title, all 11 share a slice of a $1,750,000 prize pool.

We knew we were in for something special when we saw Christoph Vogelsang not go broke with kings versus aces. Vogelsang expertly check back on a board and was correct in doing so because David Coleman was sat there with . Unfortunately for Vogelsang, he crashed out in 27th place.

Team partypoker’s Isaac Haxton won a massive pot which resulted in Giuseppe Iadisernia busting out and having to re-enter for another $25,500. Haxton improved to a queen-high diamond flush on the turn of the and secured a full double courtesy of Iadisernia’s being an expensive second-best hand.

Haxton narrowly missed out on cashing, later busting in 15th place. Iadisernia’s second bullet performed better than his first, and he now finds himself fifth in chips going into Day 2.

Jason Koon won a huge pot just before Haxton’s demise. Koon got creative with and three-bet all-in for 15.5 big blinds after Rui Ferreira raised preflop with . Ferreira called and handed over half of his stack to Koon when the five community cards fell .

They’re All In The Money

Day 1 ended when former MILLIONS Online Main Event champion Jon Van Fleet busted in 12th place. Van Fleet’s exit not only brought the curtain down on proceedings but burst the money bubble also.

Each of the surviving 11 players is now guaranteed to collect $59,322 for their efforts, but one of them will walk away with a colossal $525,089.

Brock Wilson is the man in pole position when play resumes at 19:05 GMT on February 24. Wilson has 11,757,557 chips in his stack, a handful of big blinds more than the legendary Justin Bonomo (11,022,513).

Ottomar Ladva (10,490,499) of Estonia returns to the tables third in chips, with Koon’s 8,185,204 chips enough for fourth-place at the restart.
